Jackin' Block Party at Jack Block Park

The first Jackin' Block Party, a collaboration between Seattle House Mafia and Elevated Frequencies. Six hours on the lower level of Jack Block Park, down by the beach with the water and the working port either side of you.

Jackin' house, deep house, Afro house, techno and progressive house in rotation from Black Velveteen, Christine Michelle, Paul Velocity, Phil Anthony, Rachel Vick and sangdo.

Beach vibes were the brief: floats, blankets, beach games, lights and things to share. Family and pet friendly, with a medical kit at the DJ canopy. Free to attend, with donations going straight to the artists, and free parking at the park or along Harbor Ave SW.

It went well enough that it came back. Jackin' Block Party 2 followed in September, expanded to two arenas.
