Seattle House Mafia is a trio of Seattle-based House DJs, each having established their own individual success in the Pacific Northwest.

  • DJ Sang-Do

    PROGRESSIVE HOUSE

Sang-Do has steadily shared his passion for music since 1996, starting from humble beginnings at house parties and raves to playing in some of the most iconic venues.

His journey, shaped by the inspiration of North American DJs and the vibrant European club scene, has always been driven by a deep appreciation for the unifying power of electronic dance music.

In 2008, he started the Global Dance Podcast. Since 2012, he has been producing music, founded Global Dance Records and GDR Audio Mastering Services, and formed the Seattle House Mafia trio in 2021.

Yet, through it all, Sang-Do remains deeply grounded, valuing the connection with his audience far more than any personal recognition. For him, it’s always been about the energy of the crowd and the joy of a shared musical experience.

    Phil Anthony

JACKIN’ HOUSE / AFRO HOUSE / TECH HOUSE

Born and raised in Seattle Washington, Phil has always been drawn to the more soulful and percussive side of music. In the days of the early 90s break in scene - which evolved into a flourishing rave culture, Phil was baptized into the church of dance music by the sounds of Techno, Breaks and Drum n Bass.

It was a magical time in Seattle when, on a random Saturday, you could catch Nirvana or Alice In Chains at a Pioneer Square pub, then head off to whatever party was happening and likely stay long enough to watch the sunrise.

As Phil began to spend more time at clubs and less time at raves, he quickly fell in love with the sounds of West Coast and Chicago house. In 1997 Phil’s amazing mother funded his first pair of 1200s and he began playing out shortly after.

Phil has had the pleasure of sharing the decks with the likes of Keoki, Donald Glaude, DJ Skribble, Jazzy Jeff, Richard Humpty Vision, Micro, Lawnchair Generals, Mark Farina, Jon Kelly, Wesley Holmes, Brian Lions, Fred Everything, Rick Garcia, Doc Martin, Ursula 1000, Ferry Cortsen, the Sharp Shooters, Fort Knox 5, All Good Funk Allience, DJ DRM, Sabo, Danny Massure and many other inspiring characters. The world continues to change but Phil’s love for dance music and creating the vibe soldiers on.

  • DJ Paul Velocity in the mix

    Paul Velocity

TECH HOUSE / JACKIN HOUSE / VOCAL HOUSE

Paul Velocity is a globally experienced House music DJ having played at some of the most prestigious house music nightclubs around the world including Bar M (Ibiza), Ministry of Sound (London), Venus (Manchester), Gatecrasher (Birmingham), Skykitchen (Vienna) and Kameleon (Croatia). Locally, Paul has appeared as a special guest at Q Nightclub and Monkeyloft (Seattle).

He grew up listening to happy hardcore, hardstyle dance music, Drum & Bass and UKG before finding his passion for House music. His contemporary DJ sound takes influence from all of the above genres which gives his versatile style unique dance floor appeal.

He is one half of house music producing duo “Sawtooth & Sine” and has music signed to Seattle based record label Global Dance Records. You can find his House Music tracks on Beatport, Spotify and Amazon under the Sawtooth & Sine moniker.

“Platform Six” is Paul's own self-published weekly hour long radio show, showcasing unreleased promos and an upfront House Music selection which ran for 150 consecutive episodes over three years.

Paul curates his own independent YouTube channel with 17,000+ subscribers and videos with millions of views where he thrives in playing his own distinctive brand of Funky Tech House music.
